The Klompen Classic 5K has been celebrated annually by many runners and friends throughout Iowa and the United States. Over the past 24 years, this fun event has brought thousands of individuals together to race for a cause. All funds raised make it possible to provide programs to thousands of local children and families. Last year 2,393 participants enjoyed the Klompen Classic 5K as they ran through the beautiful town of Pella. Join us this year to get a touch of Holland and venture through Pella’s tulips, windmills, beautiful scenery, and much more.

Age group award winners, overall Klompen winners and overall Master’s winners (over 40 age group) will be recognized as results are available.
$25.00 for those registering on or before May 2.
T-Shirts GUARANTEED for those registered by April 20.
$30.00 for Race Day registrants.
Those registering the day of the race will receive a t-shirt while quantities last.
Family Registration – First three registrants at full price. Any additional at half price. IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY.
Disposable Timing Tags will be attached to the back of your race number.
The 5K course leads you through the streets of Pella and by local historical sites and tulip beds.
A commemorative hand painted wooden shoe will be given to the overall male and female 5K Champions. Overall winners also receive a pair of running shoes from Fleet Feet Sports Des Moines. ($135 value)
Participants 40 and over will compete for a wooden shoe award which will be granted to the over 40 winner in both a male and female category. Male and female winners will also receive a pair of New Balance 860 Running Shoes from Brown’s Shoe Fit in Pella, Iowa.
First, second and third place medals will be awarded in each of the following age groups for both male and female participants.
